DEBUT ALBUM FROM TACOBITCH!

Consisting of both musicians and dancers, TACOBITCH uses theater, scenography, costume and choreography to expand what can be understood as a concert experience. Through their anonymous alter-egos they play on our common fascination with “the spectacle” as their main instrument. Appropriately transgressive, appropriately scary and appropriately fun, they want to show people a utopian hope for the generous party as a solution – dressed in a dystopian garb. Techno. Dance. Show.

After a handful of EPs and singles, Tacobitch will release their debut album “RATMODE” on 27. September. The listener is invited to a genre-mixing party and to be thrown through walls of acid, drum and bass, black metal, techno, punk and perhaps for the first time in the TACOBITCH universe: pop! The album is the group’s first vocal-driven work and is taking the task of showing what happens if you invite non-human creatures to sit in the songwriter’s chair? “RATMODE” is a sparkling, distorted mountain hike in the autumn darkness.
